Labyrinths represent a unique way to demonstrate our
spirituality.
Built about ten years ago, the outdoor labyrinth is not only the site of
occasional worship services for our congregation, but allows individuals, both
church members and those from the wider community, to explore and deepen their
spiritual lives in their own way.
The indoor canvas labyrinth can be laid out in the sanctuary during the winter
months, often for reflection on Good Friday and New Year's Eve.
A Memorial Meditation Garden is adjacent to the outdoor labyrinth and allows
members a place to quietly meditate and reflect upon their loves ones and their
own relationship to God in a serene, peaceful setting.
In order to reach all who wish to meditate in this way, a table-top labyrinth
is hung in our church for use by individuals not able to traditionally
"walk" the labyrinth but can travel the path with their fingers.
